HOW IT WORKS ?
Scientific research dating back to 1786, beginning with L. Galvani, has demonstrated that the relationship between muscle stress and strain depends on exercise intensity and duration. This relationship can be represented as a parabolic curve consisting of three phases: an ascending phase, a peak, and a descending phase.
The ascending phase is relatively short, which means that muscle contraction begins as soon as the workout starts and progressively increases with both time and intensity. A peak will eventually be reached, after which the descent phase begins.
This information indicates that you don’t need to spend hours in the gym to achieve a good pump ; of course you need to know which exercises (how many sets & reps) are the best for you ; and that overtraining can damage muscle cells.
